About Perth Doula Services

Meet your Doula

Being a Doula isn’t just a job to me, it’s a calling.

Certified Birth Doula

My Journey to Becoming a certified birth & postpartum Doula

My journey to becoming a doula began with the birth of my first child. I had an empowering birth experience, thanks to the amazing support of my private midwife. She was there for me every step of the way, providing me with emotional and physical
support, and guiding me through the entire process. I knew right then that I wanted to do the same for other families.

I began my doula training so I could dedicate my time and experience to the growing need of support in this space. It is an incredible feeling to be able to support other families during such a transformative time in their lives. I feel honoured to be a part of their journey, and I am constantly amazed by the strength and resilience of the families I worked with.

"I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Michelle. From our first meeting, I knew I was in good hands."

Without a doubt that my doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. Her support and guidance made all the difference in my birth experience, and I am grateful for the role she played in helping me to bring my beautiful baby into the world.

-Sarah S.

"We were alarmed and confused, as we weren’t really explained why. After seeking advice from Michelle, she explained what it meant and put our worries at ease."

On the 25 of July our beautiful son Albirru was born at Armadale hospital.
Early in the pregnancy we were told that I had marginal cord insertion.
We didn’t really know what this meant, except were told that our baby may not
get nutrients from me, and we needed more scans than usual.
